Year End Thoughts

What a year!  I reflect back 9 months ago to when I made the decision to start my own business and how exciting it was.  I've covered a lot of ground in unknown territory since then and sometimes think I can't hold another thing in my brain!  But, a new day brings renewed energy and I'm ready to tackle anything. I think many of us feel this way in a year that has brought so many challenges.  Covid, isolation, working from home, worries about getting sick... The Changing Seasons

It's that time of year again where we think about "battening down the hatches" for winter preparation at our homes and cottages.  Ordering and stacking wood for our wood stoves and fireplaces, changing regular sheets for flannel, adding an extra blanket to the bed or putting a cozy throw over the arm of your couch to grab on a chilly day. As we make these changes in our homes, I'm also thinking about new recipes for my fall & winter soaps with deeper, richer colours and warmer scents that evoke feelings of comfort.  It's all about embracing the changing seasons...
